In the summer of 2026 we be traveling to Italy and France for the experience of a lifetime with Global Sports Experiences.  Our men's and women's team will be traveling to some of the most incredible destinations on earth.  We will get to experience on and off field events in cities like Rome, Florence, Venice, Lake Como, Milan, Monte Carlo and the rest of the French Riviera.  Our teams will get to play against local competition then get to sample all that the culture has to offer.  

We will have our own luxury motor coach to transport us from location to location and will stay in top class accommodation with local and bilingual guides supporting us every day.  Our accommodation will include breakfast and evening meal* with lots of free time for you to sightsee and grab lunch on your own. Our 12 night stay will include $ stars standard hotels in Rome (x 2 nights), Montecatini area (x 2 nights), Mestre area (x 2 nights), Como area (x 3 nights) and the French Riviera (Nizza or Antibes or Cannes) where we will be staying in select 3 stars hotel (x 3 nights).

Included in this experience will be guided visits and tours of some of the most famous locations and truly think this will represent the trip of a lifetime.

At Global Sports Experiences we offer international sports experiences wherever a ball is kicked. Their unique sports trips combine competitive play with a deep immersion into the local culture. 

Our international experiences take you to the heart of some of the world's most exciting and beautiful sports events and cultural locations. You can immerse yourself in a culture and play on a level and style of game that you've never seen before, giving you a true sense of what it means to be part of the local sports community.

We have managed to secure 20 group flights departing from Nashville to Rome and also 20 group flights from McGhee Tyson to Rome.  We have to confirm these by no later than February 2oth and you can register for this option by going into your registration and checking the add on options.  

We will provide these seats on a first come first served basis.  All flights include a checked bag and carry on luggage and costs $1,399 per person.  The group flight provides you with the opportunity to break the payment into a $199 deposit due by February 20th then $600 on March 15th and $600 on May 15th. 

If you are electing to book your own flight we need you to arrive in Rome no later than 11.00am on Thursday July 23rd.

• $199 deposit needed by February 20th to hold seat.

• March 8th last option to cancel seat or lose $199 deposit

• March 15th 2nd payment due of $600.

• May 15th names as on passport and TSA information required and final payment of $600.

• Any seats cancelled after May 15th will be penalized by full fare.

• We must maintain at least 10 passengers on each group flight otherwise space and rate may no longer be valid and deposit is lost.

Thursday, July 23rd – Arrival at Rome Fiumicino International Airport at 6:50 am for the first group of 20 passengers arriving on Delta flight DL112 from Boston. An additional 10 passengers will arrive later, at approximately 7:35 am and 7:50 am. They will meet the rest of the group at the location indicated by the Tour Manager, Ms. Aurelia Peressini (Mobile: +39 329 2942792). Board your private coach and transfer to Rome city center. This first group will remain in Rome under the assistance of Aurelia. The second group of 13 passengers, arriving between 10:00 am and 11:00 am, will be welcomed by Giacomo (Mobile: +39 345 220 3011), who will meet passengers arriving on Delta flight DL206 from Detroit at 11:00 am. Any remaining passengers will join the group at the meeting point communicated by the Tour Manager. Board the coach and transfer to downtown Rome to reunite with the rest of the group. Lunch on your own. At 3:45 pm, enjoy a guided tour of the Colosseum, followed by a walking tour of Rome, the Eternal City, led by a professional local guide. At the end of the tour, transfer to your reserved accommodation, Hotel Barceló** (Rome area)**, for check-in. Dinner at 8:30 pm and overnight stay.

DAY 3 –Friday, July 24th 2026 – Rome Area Hotel

Breakfast at hotel. At about 09:00 am, transfer to Rome/ Vatican City area for a guided visit of St. Peter’s Basilica starting from 10:30 am. Lunch on your own. Make the most of your final afternoon in Rome, with time for sightseeing and a taste of Italian shopping.

• At 4:00 pm the entire group departs  to 4:00 pm to a local sport center where women team will play game#1. At 6:00 pm Maryville College Women soccer team vs. RES Roma select team. At the end, post-game dinner at the local sport center club restaurant for the whole group. At about 9:30 pm return to your hotel in Rome area and overnight.

DAY 4 – Saturday, July 25th 2026 – Montecatini Area Hotel

At 04:00 pm, you will participate in a guided walking tour of Florence with a local professional guide. At the end, free time to shop and stroll around. Tonight, dinner on your own in Florence city center. No later than 8:30 pm, final transfer to your reserved Grand Hotel Tettuccio**** in Montecatini Terme area for check-in, and overnight. 

DAY 5 – Sunday, July 26th 2026 – Montecatini Area Hotel

Breakfast at hotel. At 08.00 am departure to La Spezia train station. On arrival take the local train and venture into a full day excursion of Cinque Terre, the colorful “Five Lands” - five authentic Italian seaside villages, each with its own charm. Two villages, possibly three if one hustles, is very likely all one can visit during this time. Lunch is traveler choice.  Take your train back to La Spezia at the announced time.

• At about 3:30 pm departure to  a local sport center in Montecatini Terme suburbs where men team will play game#1. At 6:00 pm Maryville College Men soccer team vs. UC Giovani ViaNova. At the end, transfer to the hotel for dinner at about 8:15/ 8:30 pm. Finally, transfer to your hotel and overnight. 

DAY 6 – Monday, July 27th 2026 – Mestre Area Hotel

DAY 7 – Tuesday, July 28th 2026 – Mestre Area Hotel

Breakfast at hotel. At 08:45 am transfer by your private motor-coach to Tronchetto (Venice) parking area where at 09:30 am you will jump on board the boat taxi to St. Mark’s Square. On arrival, enjoy a guided visit of Venice, the romantic Lagoon, with a local professional guide, starting at 10:00 am. Lunch on your own. Free afternoon at your leisure to browse around and do some nice shopping. Tonight, dinner on your own in Venice before heading back to the hotel. At the designed time, return by private boat to Tronchetto Parking area where your private bus will be waiting to bring you back to your hotel in Mestre area and overnight.

enjoy a food and wine tasting experience at a local estate. At around 02.00 pm, continue to Saronno area for check-in at Starhotels Grand Milan**** and pre-game dinner at 5:00 pm. At the end, the group will be split:  

• Women team: at 6:30 pm will transfer to a local sport centre in Saronno for game#2. At 8:30 Maryville College Women soccer vs. Meda Calcio Femminile.

• Men group will continue on to Meda sport center to play game#2. Kick-off at 8:00 pm: Maryville College Men soccer team vs. San Paolo Cantù.

• At the end of men game (at about 9:45 pm), return by our bus to the women sport center and final transfer of the whole group to the hotel. Overnight.

DAY 9 – Thursday, July 30th 2026 – Como Area Hotel

Breakfast at the hotel. At about 8:30 am departure to Como’s province for a training session with your own coaching staff from 09:30 am to 11.30 am. At the end, transfer downtown Como, lunch on your own. At 02:30 pm, transfer to Como city center where at 10:00 am you will take the boat and enjoy a 3-hours private cruise on Lake Como up to Bellagio, a beautiful northern Italian lake famous for its scenery and elegant lakeside towns, with guide on board. Return to Como by boat. Lunch on your own. Afternoon at leisure for personal sightseeing and exploration. At the scheduled time, return to hotel for dinner at 7:00 pm and overnight.  

DAY 10 – Friday, July 31st 2026 – Como Area Hotel

Breakfast at hotel. At 9:00 am transfer to Milan. At 10:30 am you will embark on a guided walking visit of Milan, Italy’s fashion and financial capital, with a local professional guide. Lunch on your own. Today afternoon the group will be split:

• Women team: at about 4:30/ 5:00 pm departure to Lugano (Switzerland – bring with you your passports for control at the douane) to play game#3. At 7:00 pm Maryville College Women soccer team vs. Lugano Calcio Femminile. At the end, post-game dinner at the local sport center. At about 10.00 pm return to hotel and overnight.

• Men team: at about 4:30 pm departure to Meda sport center to play game#3. At 5:30 pm pre-game dinner at the local sport center. At 8:00 pm Maryville College Men soccer team vs. Chicasso FC U20. At the end return to hotel.

Breakfast at hotel. At 10:00 am, take part in a guided walking visit of Nice, a historic and elegant French Riviera city, with a local professional guide. Lunch on your own. Free afternoon at your leisure to enjoy the city, relax at a local beach or explore on your own the close city of Cannes, a glamorous French Riviera city best known for hosting the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Tonight, dinner on your own in nice city center. Overnight at your hotel in Nice area.

DAY 13 – Monday, August 3rd 2026 – Nizza or Antibes or Cannes Area Hotel

Breakfast at hotel. At 09:00 am, transfer to the Principality of Monaco, a tiny independent principality on the French Riviera, renowned for luxury, yachts, and the Monaco Grand Prix. At 10:30 am, enjoy a guided walking visit of Montecarlo, Monaco's iconic luxury district, with a local professional guide. Lunch on your own. Free afternoon to wander through Monaco, soaking up its elegant streets, luxury yachts, and stunning Mediterranean views. Finally, return to your hotel in Nice area for dinner at 07:30 pm and overnight.

DAY 14 – Tuesday, August 4th 2026

Breakfast at your hotel and check-out. At about 06:45 am transfer to Nice Côte d'Azur Airport in time to catch your flight DL25 to Atlanta leaving at 10:15 am. End of services.  Au revoir, France
